This mala can be worn around the neck or on the left wrist, as per tradition.
Traditionally, a mala consists of 108 stones, but it can also be made shorter; the important rule to follow is that they are multiples of nine.
A short mala allows for easy counting of the beads during meditation and is also easier to wear as it is lighter than the classic "full mala" with 108 beads of 0,315" (8 mm).
