Create Your Own Mala Kit

Traditionally, it's said that each person should tie their own mala, repeating a personal mantra with every knot. I created this kit so you can honor that practice at home, without the hassle of sourcing stones, thread and components on your own.

Telling real stones from fake ones is genuinely hard (and no, apps don't work: you need an expert with at least a microscope, and sometimes even that isn't enough). You often have to buy whole strands of stones, and the stringing thread can be a problem too: too thin or too thick, too weak or too stiff. And then, how do you string it all?

With this kit, I guide you: we choose the stones, thread and components together, so you can make your mala with ease.

How It Works

You order the kit.
I'll get in touch to find out whether you already have some stones in mind, or I'll suggest some based on your taste and zodiac sign.
Together we choose the stones (over 40 options), the guru bead, the thread color, and the pendant or tassel.
I prepare your kit and ship it to you.

What's Included

2.5 strands of 8 mm gemstone beads (about 120 beads total), plus the guru bead
2 resistant threads in your preferred color
Nickel- and lead-free alloy spacers, crimp beads, and rings
Your choice of pendant or tassel
