Traditionally, you tie your own mala — repeating a personal mantra with every knot. This kit makes that possible without the guesswork of sourcing stones on your own, where it's genuinely hard to tell real from dyed, or to find small quantities of the varieties you want.

What's included:

  • 2 strands of 8mm gemstone beads (about 120 beads total) — choose from 40+ stone options
  • 2 lengths of durable thread in your preferred color, plus a beading needle
  • Nickel- and lead-free spacers, crimp beads, and steel rings
  • Your choice of pendant or tassel
  • A mala board, included at a kit-only price, to help you lay out your design and count accurately as you work
