Luce was born from a simple question: what does it feel like to hold a bit of clarity in your hands, on the days when your mind feels too crowded?

I created this mala for anyone looking for a steady point to return to when thoughts start piling up. Clear quartz is its heart: it's often called the "queen of stones" for its transparency and versatility. I chose it not because it promises to change how you feel, but because working with it, bead by bead, gives the mind somewhere to settle.

Clear quartz is traditionally associated with clarity, symbolic purification, and the amplification of intention — an idea found across many contemplative traditions, where the stone's transparency becomes a metaphor for seeing yourself more clearly.

Alongside the clear quartz sits Aqua Aura quartz, which gives this mala its blue-iridescent shimmer. I want this to be clear from the start: Aqua Aura is natural quartz bonded with a fine metallic coating, so its color comes from a process, not from a naturally blue stone. Traditionally it's associated with expression and communication, a soft counterpoint to the sharper brightness of the clear quartz.

At the back of the neck sits a small steel Hamsa Hand charm. It's a symbol that crosses several cultures and is traditionally linked to protection — here it works more as a quiet reminder than a promise.

This is a full 108-bead mala, made for japa meditation, mantra repetition, or simply to accompany you through the day. The beads move slowly through your fingers, one at a time — that pacing is really the whole point of the practice.

Materials and construction. The clear quartz is natural and untreated. The Aqua Aura quartz is natural quartz that has gone through a metallic bonding process, and it's only fair you know that upfront, since that's where its color comes from. Beads measure approximately 8 mm, with a total circumference of about 105 cm plus tassel. The mala is hand-knotted on a resistant cord, built to hold up to daily wear, and all steel components are nickel- and lead-free, making them hypoallergenic.
