The Stones

In this Square Breathing Mala, selenite opens and closes the practice through the exhale. It's traditionally associated with clarity, calm, and steadiness.

Sand jasper supports the inhale, helping the breath descend into the body — traditionally associated with grounding and stability.

Selenite also accompanies the hold with full lungs and the exhale, creating a space of clarity and integration.

Square Breathing

The Square Breathing Mala supports square breathing, or box breathing: a simple technique, suitable even for beginners, often used for stress, anxiety, and self-regulation.

The practice follows four phases of equal length:

inhale — hold — exhale — hold

The beads are arranged in groups of 4, so you can let touch guide you without having to count. Slide your fingers over the beads and, when they change shape or size, move into the next phase of the breath.

You can use it for a full practice, for a few short cycles during the day, or as a half mala for mantra, sankalpa, and brief meditations.

Materials and Features

Each Breath Mala is handmade with natural, untreated, and undyed gemstones.

The cord is extra strong, chosen to support daily practice and make the mala solid, flexible, and suitable to be carried with you often.

It is small, light, and practical. You can keep it in your bag, pocket, on your bedside table, near your yoga mat, or on your desk. Thanks to its adjustable closure, you can also wear it on your wrist as a bracelet, if you wish to keep it always within reach.

Each mala comes with the description of the gemstones and a cotton pouch, designed to protect it and make it easy to carry with you throughout the day.
