Why I created this bracelet

I made this apatite and yellow jade wrap mala bracelet at the request of a special person who wanted to always carry the memory of the sea and the sun with them. To do that, I brought together the deep, luminous blue of natural apatite and the warm golden glow of yellow jade. It's a piece for anyone who wants to stay connected to their own depth while moving through life with warmth and clarity. Thanks to its flexible, adjustable macramé closure, you can wear it wrapped three to four times around the wrist, or as a single-strand necklace.

Materials and meaning

Apatite takes its name from the Greek apatan, "to deceive," because for centuries mineralogists mistook it for other gems like beryl or tourmaline before it was recognized as its own mineral in the 1700s. Its blue-green tone evokes the movement of the ocean, and it's traditionally associated with openness and inner clarity — like looking into clear water and slowly recognizing what was already there.

Yellow jade brings the warmth of the sun, with a golden tone traditionally associated with confidence, abundance, and direction. The meru bead in citrine quartz adds a small point of light at the center of the mala, traditionally linked to clarity and intention along the path.

Together, these stones form a bracelet built on the dance between water and fire: softness and strength, flow and intention, intuition and action.

Thanks to its flexible structure, this mala can be worn wrapped several times around the wrist as a bracelet, or as a single-strand mala necklace, keeping the stones close to the heart.
