Custom Short Mala or Half Mala – Personalized Meditation Beads with Natural Crystals

Not every mala needs to start from a fixed design. Sometimes the most meaningful piece is the one built entirely around your own intention — the crystals that speak to you, the length that fits your practice, the small details that make it personal. I created this custom option so you can shape a mala or half mala that feels like it was always yours.

Materials & Meaning

Every mala I make by hand carries meaning through the stones it's built from, and a custom piece is no different — only here, you choose the story. Traditionally, malas were strung with materials associated with focus and intention, and this process lets you continue that in your own way, whether you're drawn to grounding stones, calming tones, or a gemstone with personal significance.

A traditional mala counts 108 beads, but shorter versions are equally rooted in practice — 54, 27, or 18 beads, each an exact fraction of the full mala. A shorter mala or half mala is lighter, easier to count during meditation, and comfortable for daily wear, or, as a half mala, to loop three times around the wrist as a bracelet.

Once I have your preferences, I'll send a photo or video of the proposed design before making anything — you approve it, or we adjust, and only then do I start.

Authenticity

Every piece is hand-knotted with genuine gemstones — never dyed, never heat-treated — using thread built to hold up to daily wear, and finished with nickel- and lead-free metal components.
