Why I created this juzu
This SGI Nichiren Buddhist juzu is hand-knotted with deep purple amethyst and clear quartz. I used natural, untreated, and undyed 6 mm gemstones, and it's created according to the traditional structure of SGI juzu prayer beads.
Designed for meditation, Nam Myoho Renge Kyo chanting (daimoku), and contemplative practice, this juzu can also be worn as spiritual jewelry or kept as a personal object for mindful rituals on your altar.
The combination of amethyst and clear quartz creates a luminous and harmonious composition that is both elegant and symbolic.
The stones
Amethyst has long been appreciated across cultures for its deep violet color and its association with contemplation and clarity. Its rich tones give this juzu a calm and refined presence.
Clear quartz, also known as rock crystal, is valued for its purity and natural transparency. Its luminous quality brings light and balance to the overall design.
Juzu tradition
SGI juzu prayer beads are used within the Soka Gakkai International Buddhist community during daimoku recitation and meditation practices. Their structure reflects the rhythm and continuity of spiritual practice.

This juzu follows the traditional SGI Nichiren Buddhist structure used for mantra chanting. It can accompany your Nam Myoho Renge Kyo chanting (daimoku), meditation practice, or daily spiritual rituals.
The stones on this juzu are genuine, untreated gemstones — not dyed, not heat-treated to alter their color, hand-knotted on a resistant cord built to hold up under daily wear.
Whether used for chanting, as a meaningful gift, or kept as a personal spiritual object, this juzu reflects the beauty and symbolism of traditional SGI Buddhist prayer beads. This piece is created by me, Cristina, with attention to material quality and to the traditional structure of the practice.

Composition & Care Instructions
Composition & Care Instructions
Hand-knotted with 100% natural, untreated, and undyed gemstones. Crafted with ultra-durable cord and finished with stainless steel or nickel- and lead-free alloy components.
Your Samdea mala arrives ready to accompany you. Over time, you may feel the wish to renew the ritual that connects you to it — a few quiet minutes with a soft cloth, a moment to restate why you wear it.
It's not about restoring an energy the mala has lost; it's about returning, again, to the intention you first placed in it.
Keep it away from harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight, simply to preserve the materials over time.
